The athlete caused a furore at the legendary Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel and took first place. He learnt to ski there and took part in his first race. After the first run, Straßer was already in a promising position in fourth place. He then ignited the turbo in the second run. At the night slalom in Schladming, Linus Straßer also stood at the top of the podium in front of 30,000 spectators. He thus celebrated the fifth World Cup victory of his career - a historic success, as never before has a German winter sports athlete managed to win in both Kitzbühel and Schladming in the same season.
The German champion has been wearing the orange FTI logo on his helmet since December 2021. FTI GROUP CEO Karl Markgraf congratulates the skier, shares his excitement and wishes him continued success on behalf of the entire group.
