The FTI GROUP continues to focus on making vacations as risk-free as possible and is therefore includes the free includes the Corona Travel Promise (Corona Reiseversprechen) for the tour operator brand FTI Touristik for all new bookings until October 31, 2021. The Corona Travel Promise covers the accommodation and return flight costs for vacationers who have to be quarantined on site during their trip due to a positive Corona test. It thus offers comprehensive all-round protection and makes vacation planning for summer vacations more carefree.
The Corona Travel Promise is valid for new bookings from July 1 and until October 31, 2021, with the latest return trip by October 31, 2021.
Additional coverage during the trip
The Corona Travel Protection automatically includes additional benefits for the stay in the vacation region. Should vacationers of the tour operator brand FTI Touristik be refused entry locally due to a positive Covid19 test, or should they test positive for Covid19 during the further course of their vacation, the tour operator will assume the additional costs incurred for the person concerned and all fellow travelers on the respective booking. This includes the reimbursement of additional accommodation costs in case of an officially ordered quarantine up to a maximum of 14 days as well as the assumption of the costs for the rebooking of the return flight up to 500 euros per person or up to a maximum of 3,500 euros per booking.
Corona Travel Promise can be combined with: Corona Travel Protection in cooperation with insurance partner Hanse Merkur
Holidaymakers who want to be on the safe side even before the journey starts, can add the Corona Travel Protection for 9.90 Euro per booking. With this protection, guests are also covered before the trip, because they can submit the cancellation costs (up to a maximum of 1,500 euros per person) to Hanse Merkur for reimbursement based on a positive PCR test from 72 hours before the start of the vacation. If, on the other hand, the trip can be started, guests benefit from medical information, advice and assistance via an emergency hotline that is available around the clock, as well as accident insurance for up to 25,000 euros, should the worst happen during the vacation.
