FTI GROUP holds talks with investors

The aim is fresh capital to implement the corporate strategy +++ Increased investment in transformation and digitalisation +++ Termination of granted Corona support measures intended

Munich, 25 September 2023 – The FTI GROUP, Europe’s third largest tour operator group, is in talks
with investors about injecting fresh capital to implement its corporate strategy. As already announced,
the FTI GROUP will invest the capital in the digital transformation of the company to further strengthen
the business. With the planned entry of an investor, the company also intends to terminate granted
Corona support measures.

As one of the leading companies in the German travel market, the FTI GROUP benefits from the
positive market development. For the current financial year, which covers the period from
1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023, the group expects a pleasing revenue result of around 4.1 billion
euros. Bookings for the upcoming winter season 2023/24 are today 26 percent above last year’s level.

Important sales channels are also the TV travel shopping channel sonnenklar.TV, an FTI GROUP partner, as well as the online B2B accommodation provider Youtravel. The consolidator FTI Ticketshop is responsible for the sale of scheduled flight tickets. In Austria, FTI Touristik is represented by a branch office in Linz. The subsidiary FTI Touristik AG, based in Basel, represents the tour operator in Switzerland. Since 2012, the French tour operator FTI Voyages has been part of the FTI GROUP. With FTI Reizen, the group has also been active in the Netherlands since 2016. The total of eight service centres, such as erf24 and travianet, handle numerous bookings for the FTI GROUP as well as external customers.
